Sullivan’s Gulch hosting multi-neighborhood meeting

The commercial corridor on NE Broadway will be the subject of a multi-neighborhood meeting hosted by the Northeast Coalition of Neighborhoods and the Sullivan’s Gulch Neighborhood Association later this month.

The planning charrette will consider Broadway, between the Broadway Bridge and the Hollywood district, how to preserve its past and what it should look like in the future. The meeting will bring together participants from the Eliot, Irvington, Grant Park, Lloyd and Hollywood neighborhoods, as well as the NE Broadway Business Association.

The meeting will be held from noon to 3 p.m. at Grace Episcopal Church, 1535 N.E. 17th Ave. on April 27. Northeast Portland residents and business owners are invited to attend.

Carl Abbott, of Portland State University, will be the guest speaker.
